As part of the public service oriented mission of the University of California, this interactive map acts as a public portal to disseminate spatial information about the impact and contributions of the University of California to the state. Through its multiple query options, users are able to explore the myriad community-based programs administered by the University at the level of assembly, senate, and congressional districts, as well as counties, regions, and UC campuses. The area’s summary statistics are downloadable as map pdfs for the benefit of governmental advocacy and the general public’s understanding of UC’s impact in their community.
Start to the left by selecting a geographic unit and refine the query by choosing a locale. Then click "get map". You can see the statewide distribution of any or all of the program categories by simply selecting them at the left before choosing a locale.
